Contemporary Dance | 30 Minutes
Dance Note: A creative dance based on Vaikom Muhammed Basheer’s work titled ‘Anaswara prakasham’ Aka Eternal Light. In parallel with Basheer’s poetic and spiritual eternal vision, movement artist Fawas Ameer Hamsa expresses it through his body. The dance takes place at a time when humans are repeatedly building boundaries themselves. The dancer’s body, voice, space and stillness turn into dancing rays beyond the ‘sun-moon’ based time towards the ‘auspicious’ concept of the cosmic light. A dance that sees the ‘boundless’ world as ‘meaningless time’ among humans, ‘just a mere play and a great solemnity’.
