We are thrilled to host two exceptional voices of the European improvised music scene for a one-night-only performance in Fort Kochi. Andrea Hofmann (Violin) and Hartmut Dorschner (Saxophone) will take the stage to create a spontaneous, unscripted musical journey.
The Artists:
- Andrea Hofmann (Violin): Known for her versatile and boundary-pushing approach to the violin, Hofmann weaves intricate textures that bridge the gap between classical precision and experimental freedom.
- Hartmut Dorschner (Saxophone): A veteran of the free jazz and improv scene, Dorschner is celebrated for his expressive phrasing and ability to push the saxophone into new, uncharted tonal territories.
The Performance: In the spirit of “Free Improvised Concert,” nothing is pre-composed. The performance is a real-time conversation between violin and saxophone, reacting to the unique acoustics of the space and the energy of the audience. Expect an immersive experience where silence, melody, and abstract sounds collide.
