Astrakhan, a region in southern Russia, barren, windy steppe landscape, sparsely populated. In the distance: fire-breathing factory towers. This is where energy giant Gazprom extracts hydrogen sulfide, a highly toxic gas that has caused serious environmental damage in the past.
Numerous former employees talk about how the company tried to solve these pollution problems by building a 22-meter-high pyramid and, illustrated by dancers and musicians, we discover even more miraculous phenomena associated with this structure.

A cli-fi fairytale set in an imaginary Arctic landscape where three tribes face an ecological catastrophe. Survival rests in the hands of a young creature, Iona, who perceives more than others with the eyes of her mind. The setting draws inspiration from strange yet real atmospheric and geological phenomena, like Blood Falls, creating otherworldly landscapes that are further enhanced and animated using prompt-based image generation software combined with frame interpolation. The ancient oral tradition of storytelling is mirrored by AI technology, which generates visuals using models trained on vast collective image datasets.
