On February 1st, Forplay Society invites you to a deep-listening journey with the Italian sound artist and electronic pioneer Micro Magnani. Under his Interfrequencies project, Magnani presents a live set that explores the delicate threshold between silence, structure, and sonic saturation.
Mirco Magnani’s work is a masterclass in Electroacoustic composition. Utilizing a blend of analog synthesis, digital processing, and found sounds, his performance at Forplay will delve into the world of Ambient Drone and textural Noise. Far from being mere static sound, his “interfrequencies” are evolving sonic organisms—shifting layers of frequency that challenge the listener’s perception of space and time.
With a career spanning several decades in the European avant-garde scene, Magnani brings a refined, almost architectural approach to noise. This performance is an invitation to submerge yourself in a wall of sound that is as meditative as it is intense—a sonic exploration perfect for the resonant atmosphere of Fort Kochi.
